Meetings, Newsgroup, Newsletter,
Silver Wheels Membership meetings are held the 3rd Thursday on the following months: March, May, July, September, and November at Carlisle Visitor Center (Diagonal Road in LaGrange) beginning at 7:00 pm.
Silver Wheels Board of Directors meets the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm at Carlisle Visitor Center. All Silver Wheels members are always welcome to attend the board meetings.
An annual banquet is held at which we recognize notable accomplishments of members and announce major plans for the next season. It is one of the few times we see each other not wearing bike clothes.

HOW TO SUBSCRIBE
HOW THE LIST WORKS
After you sign up, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, every member of the list will get the email. That's all there is to it.
At the bottom of any email you receive from the group you will see the option to unsubscribe.
All subscribers will receive the message.
A newsgroup depends on a certain amount of email etiquette in order for it to be effective. Some of the general guidelines for its use are as follows:
1. The main purpose is for sending a message to the entire group - not for a discussion among a few members. Club business, cycling related posts, and ride cancellations/details should be sent.
2. This is a send-only newsgroup. Replies to newsgroup messages can not be sent.
3. Persons abusing the newsgroup may be removed from the list.
If you aren't sure why you're on the list, or if you have any questions about how it works, you can contact the list administrator here email@example.com.
Silver Wheels publishes a periodic newsletter, Rollin', for its club members. The newsletter provides club news, equipment tips, riding techniques, special ride information, tour descriptions and much more. It is informative and interesting reading material that is one of the club's many services available at no charge.
We are always interested in stories to be published for members. Send your photos and articles to the newsletter editor, Steve Osmialowski.
