General information about the Redbank Valley Trails. Video will show a glimpse of this trail and surface. Recommend tires suitable for Ohio towpath. This trail surface is very good, but recommend at least 28 mm tires with some tread. There are several long tunnels, so a headlamp is strongly recommended.

This will be a car camping trip, meaning we will drive to the campground and ride out and back from the campground on Saturday and Sunday. The campground is located at Redbank Valley Municipal Park, 137 Park Rd, Fairmount City, PA, 16223, about a 3 hour drive from Oberlin. Be prepared to ride at 11 am. We will ride east along the Redbank Valley Trail to Brookville for a late lunch and back to set up camp. On Sunday we will ride west along the trail to the Redbank and Allegheny River confluence and back. On Monday we can, if desired, ride along Allegheny trail on the route home starting from Emlenton north. There is limited water availability along the Redbank trail so you will need to bring enough water each day to ride 40 miles. Questions, please contact Jan Friswold 440-570-4601
