Saturday will be the annual "Ride The Dog" event. Starting point for the Club ride(s) is yet to be determined. This will be an opportunity for Club members to ride and check the routes for our annual invitational ride "Dog Days Wine Tour", (since we will be working on the day of the DDWT supporting the ride).

If you see any issues with the:

painted wine bottle road arrows,

cuesheets,

verbal turn by turn navigation, or

any concerns with the roads,

please send an email to hipskind@mac.com and hogandprincess@aol.com with all pertinent details immediately after the ride as routes will be finalized on Sunday and sent to the printers.

Please understand that this is basically an unsupported map ride with no real services or leaders.  Folks offering to ride specific routes at certain times/paces looking for companions will be posted here as known.  It is a good idea to contact these folks to make them aware of your interest, capability of the desired pace, and verifying start time.

As in the past few years, I will be organizing a 100 mile ride that will start at 6am from the CVS parking lot.  So, all of the long-distance riders who want to ride a century come on out.  We will take a leisurely pace and stop frequently to hydrate and fuel up. - Scott Edmunson

    **

Wednesday night after the 4* ride, I went home and in my bare feet in the yard I stepped on something, not serious, but enough I could not ride in the 4th of July ride.  Instead, I went to the hospital and got a tetanus shot.  Unfortunately, there is still some infection and I am unable to ride the century tomorrow.  I'm sorry to those who were going to ride with me, but I don't think I can risk it.Scott Edmundson

I plan to ride the 50 mile route at a 3-/2+ pace.  Leaving from Oberlin CVS at 8 a.m.  Please feel free to join me.  Food ($), water, and restrooms available at 20 miles and 30 miles.

Eric and I wish to ride the 28 mile route, starting at around 7 AM.  Who else was thinking along this same line of thought? Ann Hauser

I will be riding the 50 mile route at a 4* pace starting 8:00-8:15.  Will NOT ride in the rain.  Probably will modify route slightly to avoid the trail riding on 511 to Kipton.  All welcome. Greg O.
